Acts in Africa embraces the following core beliefs:
We believe that Jesus Christ is this world’s one great hope (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Tim. 2:5)
We believe that the nations will be reached for Christ only by an authentically Pentecostal church, moving in the power of the Holy Spirit with signs following (Mark 16:15-18; Luke 24:46-49; Acts 1:8; Rom. 15:18-20).
We believe that the African church has a great missionary destiny.
We believe that the Assemblies of God in Africa stands at a crossroads in the area of Pentecostal experience and practice.
We believe that, following salvation, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the most needed, and yet the most neglected, experience in the Pentecostal church today.
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit can be correctly understood and properly received only In the context of mission (Acts 1:8).
